First time patrons. Looking for a good meal. I ordered fish dinner. My wife ordered full salad with chicken. 3 little fingers of fish soaked in oil. It was terrible. Small salad barely had any dressing and very little chicken on it. Spoke to Rick the GM. He apologized and said the fish was their top seller. Sent me an extra piece that I did not eat. Had to peel oily breading off to eat the fish I had. Rick gave us 2 desserts which we left. He also comped our meal but we insisted on paying. As I told Rick we were looking for a good meal not a free meal. He apologized again. We will not be back. They get 1star because of Rick.
When we arrived about 8:15 and it was packed! Kenny was our waiter and he nailed it! What a guy! He was so customer service focused and so attentive and accommodating, thank you for being so personable too! Prices were great and the craft beer a bonus! We will definitely eat here again. We are confident they are working the bugs out of their new establishment.
We ate here last night for the first time! What a great experience and much appreciation for having this in Lowell MI. Two of us had the scallops special and it was excellent, actually all of our food was excellent!
Service was slow. I had to go back to the host after ten minutes and asked him to find us a waitress. It didn't get much faster after that. We enjoyed the beer and were happy with the 5 oz glasses at a reasonable price to try a few different kinds. The appetizer with veggies and bacon was the highlight of the food. Very good.
Terrible service. Waitress didn't know how to work her tablet to take our order after we waited forever for her to show up. To top it all off my husband's order came out inedible so only two out of three of us got to eat. Still had to cook at home. Worst dining experience we've had. Don't waste your money.
We enjoyed our visit! They have a great selection of good. We enjoyed their Mac-N-Cheese, hamburger, chips, salsa and a real good sandwich called the Cubano!! The beer was great! We had their IPA and Coconut Porter which were easy drinkers! Also they are involved in the Grand Rapids Brewsaders passport.... So I was able to get their stamp! :) I would recommend the Big Boiler!
